  1. The new accounting standard clearily takes after the international discipline provided by IAS/IFRS guidelines. The legislator has imposed the new accounting standard treatment on derivatives financial instruments to all entities except those classified as micro (according to Directive 2013/34/EU). Hard to understand how all those entities falling under the category of small enterprises will be able to deal with the obligation set forth by the new requirements, which imply initial and subsequent evaluation only based on fair value.
